CHERRY HILL (N.J.) - The Silver Knights' girls soccer program rallied from a 2-0 halftime deficit for a 3-2 victory over Ocean City in the South Jersey Coaches Association Tournament semifinals on Wednesday night.
It was the Red Raiders' (16-1 record) first loss of the season.
Sterling's Montgomery Draham scored a pair of goals in the second half on assists from Jordan Baker and Shay Wiley. Ireland Kay scored the game-deciding goal on an assist from Antonia Troilo. The Silver Knights improved their record to 15-0-2.
The Somerdale program will play six-time Coaches' Cup champion Eastern at DeCou Park in Cherry Hill on Saturday at 6 pm. The Vikings advanced to the final with a 5-4 margin in five rounds of penalty kicks against Olympic Conference rival Shawnee.
The Silver Knights have won nine consecutive matches since a 1-1 tie against Rancocas Valley on September 25.
Mckenna Chisholm and Naomi Nnewihe each scored a goal for Ocean City in the setback. The Red Raiders allowed only seven goals through their first 16 contests. Ocean City hosts Holy Spirit in the Cape-Atlantic League Tournament semifinals on Thursday at 6 pm.
