Paul VI rolls Camden Catholic in a Thanksgiving Eve clash

HADDONFIELD (N.J.)- The Paul VI High School football team dominated its annual Thanksgiving game rival, Camden Catholic, in a 51-0 victory.

The Eagles were led on offense by junior quarterback Dom Santiago. Santiago completed six out of eight passes for 88 yards and two touchdowns. Senior running back Gavin Bunt rushed six times for 54 yards and three touchdowns. Winston Yates snagged two catches for 12 yards and a touchdown through the air.


The PVI defense was the major factor in the rivalry game. The Eagles' defense allowed only 23 total yards and forced a safety early in the first quarter to help kickstart the lopsided contest.


The Eagles have won the last three meetings against Camden Catholic. In those three wins, they've outscored the Irish, 100-7.


Paul VI finished its 2022 campaign with a 7-3 record.
