SWEDESBORO - The Gloucester Catholic High School baseball team hit the road for its second consecutive division matchup to start the season.

In a Tri-County Conference Royal division contest, the Rams stiffed Kingsway, 4-0.

Coastal Carolina signee Jackson Smallets tossed six scoreless frames paired with seven strikeouts. Immaculata commit Sal Marziani entered for the final inning of relief, hurling a scoreless inning to slam the door shut.

Gloucester Catholic collected all four of its runs in the fourth inning with RBIs from East Carolina commit Braeden Lipoff, Jude Morgan, and Marziani. Lipoff came around to score later in the frame to cap the lead the Rams would hold onto for good.

Gloucester Catholic advances to 2-0 while Kingsway falls to 1-1 on the young season.
