Deante Ruffin scores five touchdowns as Camden silences Nottingham in C.J. Group 3 quarterfinals

CAMDEN (N.J.) - Quarterback Deante Ruffin completed 12 out of 25 passes for 179 yards and three touchdowns in Camden's 41-0 win over Nottingham in the Central Jersey Group 3 quarterfinals on Friday night. Ruffin also added two rushing touchdowns.


Terron Davis hauled in four receptions for 73 yards and a pair of touchdowns.


The Panthers defense continued its dominance as Craig Walton led the Panthers with 10 tackles and Nas Blakeney added seven. West Virginia commit James Heard Jr. tallied a sack, a forced fumble and two tackles.


The Panthers advanced to the sectional semifinals and will host Cedar Creek on November 4. The Pirates won last season's meeting, 27-8.
