HADDON HEIGHTS - Cehki Hill, pictured, tallied 11 points and was named the South Jersey Sports Zone Player of the Game as Eastern outlasted Burlington Township, 58-49, in the Garnet Basketball Summer League semifinals on July 21.
Hill was energetic around the rim and used bursts of athleticism to consistently beat defenders to the basket.
Sharpshooting lefty Damien Edwards led the Vikings with a team-high 12 points. Max Portnoy added 10 points.
Burlington Township’s Maurice Crump exploded for an unofficial game-high 32 points. SJ Sports Zone’s Kevin Emmons watched the 2022 SJ Sports Zone All-South Jersey honorable mention score at least 28 points.
