New Jersey public high school football state championships preview

Thanksgiving weekend means the New Jersey high school football season has reached its final weekend.

The New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association will crown public high school football state champions for the fourth consecutive season.

10 teams across five different groups will travel to MetLife Stadium, home of the New York Giants and New York Jets, in East Rutherford and Rutgers University's SHI Stadium in Piscataway this weekend in pursuit of the ultimate goal.

For the first time in NJSIAA public high school football state finals history, a South Jersey team will be represented in each of the group finals.
