A North Jersey Non-Public A program won its 20th state championship in program history.
A North Jersey Non-Public B program won its 3rd state title since 2022.
Here are this year's New Jersey high school football state champions by group:
Group 1 - Glassboro
Group 2 - Camden
Group 3 - Cedar Creek
Group 4 - Winslow Township
Group 5 - Washington Township
Non-Public A - St. Joseph Regional
Non-Public B - DePaul Catholic
In my latest column titled Emmons' Emphasis, I present my final South Jersey Sports Zone Top 15 high school football rankings of the season. In order to be eligible for these rankings, teams must be a member of the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association, the West Jersey Football League and located within the traditional seven-county South Jersey region. This includes Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem counties.
Head-to-head victories, especially in the state tournament, are a key factor.
Strength of schedule also plays a major role.
Good wins.
Bad losses.
Without any further ado, here are my final South Jersey high school football rankings for the 2025 season:
