FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP (N.J.) - The second annual Marty Derer Holiday Classic featured 14 South Jersey high school boys basketball teams at Delsea Regional High School on Thursday.
Here's a recap of Thursday's games:
Vineland vs. Delsea
The Crusaders outlasted Vineland, 63-57. Delsea's Gabe Morton led all scorers with 23 points along with eight rebounds and two assists. Chase Ambrosius added 16, including three 3-pointers for the Crusaders. Breon Herbert led Vineland with 19 points.

Gloucester vs. Clayton
Gloucester bested their former conference rival, Clayton, with an emphatic 74-58 victory. Leading the way for Gloucester was Liam Gorman with a 34-point, 17-rebound double-double. Michael Light also notched a double-double for the Lions with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Clayton's Zaire Cesar also had a double-double with 13 points and 12 assists.
Cherokee vs. Penns Grove
Cherokee toppled Penns Grove, 60-49, in game three of the Marty Derer Holiday Classic. Chase Rovito led the Chiefs with 14 points. Jared Bell pitched in 12. Giomar Conrad led the Red Devils with 15 points as the comeback effort fell short.

Burlington Township vs. Overbrook
The Rams climbed back to defeat Burlington Township, 61-52, led by Devon Johnson's 30-point outburst. David Haywood supported Overbrook with 15 points in the victory. Baron Davis scored 21 and Maurice Crump added 17 for the Falcons.
Westampton Tech vs. Williamstown
WesTech took home a 61-47 win over Williamstown in game five of the Marty Derer Classic. Tahjj Hunter led the way with 16 points and 12 boards, and Kyree Owes chipped in 15 points and 13 rebounds. Williamstown's Cristian Mazzamuto led all scorers with 21 points along with nine rebounds.
Millville vs. Highland
Highland stormed out to an 11-0 lead in the first quarter, but it would be Millville who got the last laugh. The Thunderbolts came back and won, 54-38. Khalon Foster's game-high 14 points proved to be the key to victory as Millville improved its record to 4-1 on the season.
Sterling vs. Timber Creek
The Silver Knights shot out of the gate to an immediate 12-0 lead in the first quarter, but Timber Creek slowly fought its way back for a 62-53 win. The Chargers were led by Bryan Warren's game-high 26 points. Jaydis McFadden led Sterling with 18.
