It’s official. Eastside [formerly Woodrow Wilson] has hired Melik Brown to lead the Tigers football team.

"Eastside High Athletics is pleased to announce Melik Brown as the new head coach. Coach Brown is a former student athlete for the Tigers and older brother of former Tigers head coach and current Temple University RB Coach Preston Brown.
Coach Brown started his coaching career at his alma mater in 2011 as a DL coach. Brown also coached for the Camden High Panthers from 2012-2017 as a OL/DL coach and DC from 2013-2017.
He returned to the Tigers in 2018 as a OL and DL coach and helped the Tigers win their first sectional title since 2001. In 2021, he served as the OC for the Tigers and helped lead Woodrow Wilson to three consecutive sectional titles.
Coach Melik has been associated with all four Tigers championships as a player or coach. We are pleased to welcome him as our HC and look forward to having a great season. "
