CAMDEN - The second annual D2 Sports Network South Jersey high school baseball All-Star game is scheduled for Thursday, June 27, on the campus of Rutgers University-Camden at 6:30 pm. Team Dominate and Team Destroy will square off on the banks of the Delaware River for the second year in a row.
Last year's game finished in a 10-10 tie. Paul VI's Dom Aversa was crowned the Most Valuable Player after he went 2-for-2 with a grand slam.
This year's event will feature new head coaches, and rosters filled with Division I recruits, All-South Jersey selections and a plethora of rising stars.
Cherry Hill West's Dan McMaster will direct Team Destroy. McMaster guided the Lions to their first Joe Hartmann Diamond Classic title since 1989. Delsea's Joe Smith will lead Team Dominate. Smith directed the Crusaders to their first state championship appearance in school history
