D2 Soccer Final Four in Tampa

For the first time in program history the University of West Florida women’s soccer team will compete in the NCAA Division II Final Four. The championship tournament will be held at Pepin Stadium on the campus of the University of Tampa and will consist of West Florida, the College of Saint Rose, Metro State and Seattle Pacific.

West Florida will square off with the College of Saint Rose Thursday, December 4th at 7pm ET in the national semifinal match. The winner will advance to the NCAA Division II Championship match on Saturday, December 6th at 3:30pm ET to face the winner of the Metro State, Seattle Pacific match.

Details about live stats and streaming video will be made available within the coming days as more information will be provided on the NCAA Tournament website.

Tampa will also host the men’s Final Four Soccer Championships that weekend as well. The semifinal matches will take place Friday, December 5th starting at 4pm ET with Dowling and Northern Kentucky squaring off. Host institution Tampa will then take the field in game two against Cal State-Dominguez Hills at 7pm ET. The Men’s Championship match will be on Sunday, December 7th at 1:30pm ET.
