Cross Country Championships Set

The NCAA has announced the qualifiers for the 2007 Division II Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Championships. Missouri Southern State University will host the championships, November 17, at the Missouri Southern State Cross Country Course in Joplin, Missouri. The women’s race will begin at 10:30 a.m. Central time followed by the men’s race at 11:30 a.m. Central time.
The women’s field includes Abilene Christian, Adams State, Alabama-Huntsville, Augustana, Bloomsburg, UC San Diego, Cal State Chico, Cal State L.A., Edinboro, Grand Valley State, Harding, Lees-McRae, Massachusetts-Lowell, Missouri Southern State, North Dakota, Seattle Pacific, Stonehill, South Dakota, Southern Indiana, Tampa, Wayne State (Michigan), Western State, Wingate, and Wisconsin-Parkside.
Men’s qualifying teams include Abilene Christian, Adams State, Alabama-Huntsville, UC San Diego, Cal State Chico, Colorado School of Mines, Edinboro, Florida Southern, Grand Valley State, Mars Hill, Massachusetts-Lowell, Minnesota State Mankato, Missouri Southern State, New Mexico Highlands, Northern Kentucky, Pittsburg State, Queens (North Carolina), Slippery Rock, Southern Indiana, Stonehill, Tampa, Wayne State (Michigan), Western State, and Western Washington.
