#11 BLOOMSBURG HUSKIES

LAST SEASON, THE HUSKIES of Bloomsburg University posted a mark of 12-2, with a season opening loss to FCS (I-AA) James Madison and a semi-final loss to national runner-up Northwest Missouri. They won the NCAA Northeast Regional title along with capturing the PSAC Eastern Division title. This will be the Huskies fifteenth season under Head Coach Danny Hale (158-54-1, .745). Hale was named the PSAC East Coach of the Year, the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division II District I Coach of the Year and was a finalist for the Liberty Mutual Coach of the Year award. With a strong showing by the defense in the Spring Game and the return of veteran rusher and Harlon Hill finalist, Jamar Brittingham, the Huskies are set to make another run for the Northeast regional title. They open the season against CW Post (Northeast-10) before meeting several PSAC West opponents including a tough California (Pa.) team. Another strong foe, West Chester, begins the PSAC East schedule for BU before the season finale with PSAC West member, IUP.
