Fighting Knights are D2 Tennis Champs

LYNN UNIVERSITY CAPTURES the Division II Men’s Tennis title defeating the defending champion Valdosta State. In a rematch of last year’s title game, the Fighting Knight breezed through doubles play and didn’t look back as they cruised to a 5-1 victory. This is the first national title for Lynn men’s tennis, yet is the 19th national title (8 NCAA, 11 NAIA) in 20 years for the university and the seventh (Women’s team 3 NCAA, 3 NAIA) for Coach Mike Perez.
